Iron Blue: From Pilot and Other Stories (1916), a new edition published by The Flyfisher's Classic Library in 1999.

Harry Plunket Greene was a passionate fly-fisherman who famously wrote about his experiences fishing the Bourne Rivulet and River Test in 'Where the Bright Waters Meet'.

"The Iron-Blue," named after Plunket Greene's favourite Fly, is a short story about the capture of a giant chalkstream trout.

"It looked to him about four feet long and it scarcely moved, but every now and again a huge nose would come up and suck down a fly, or a bundle of flies, with out a sound...

Colour plate, b/w illustrations by H.J.Ford, full bonded leather, gilt, silk marker ribbon, marbled endpapers, slipcase. This is number 297 of a limited edition of 500 copies.
