This very fine copper engraving, with beautiful recent professional hand colouring of Carp & Tench, and fishing hooks, was designed and engraved by John Scott (1774 - 1827) for Daniel's Rural Sports and published in May 1801, by Bunney & Gold in Shoe Lane, London.

Scott's other work included the Sportsman's Cabinet, History and Delineation of the Horse, and the Sportsman's Repository.
