These original and very beautiful chromolithographs are from the Fishes of Alaska, an investigative report of the welfare of salmon fisheries by Barton Evermann and Edmund Lee Goldsborough, published in the US Fish Commission Bulletin for 1906.

The magnificent plates of salmon, trout and grayling were made from watercolour drawings of living fish by A.H. Baldwin and lithographed by A. Hoen & Co, Baltimore.

condition:Excellent. All prints are untrimmed and complete with binding holes to top edge. Copy of title page included.
