This very beautiful, original handcoloured engraving of Zoophytes – Jellyfish - is from Georges Cuvier's “Le Règne Animal Distribué d’après son Organisationor.”  The Animal Kingdom, Distributed According to Its Organisation.  

Published in Paris by Fortin and Masson in 1817-1849.
