This very fine copper engraving, with beautiful recent professional hand colouring of - Grayling, Gudgeon & Fishing Hooks - was was designed and engraved by John Scott for Daniel's Rural Sports and published in May 1801, by Bunney & Gold in Shoe Lane, London.
Scott's other work included the Sportsman's Cabinet, History and Delineation of the Horse, and the Sportsman's Repository.
