This rare copper engraving, with recent professional hand colouring of an atlantic salmon & salmon flies, was designed and engraved by John Scott (1774 - 1827) for Daniel's Rural Sports and published in May 1801, by Bunney and Gold in Shoe Lane, London.
Scott's other work included the Sportsman's Cabinet, History and Delineation of the Horse, and the Sportsman's Repository.
